My Son's Version of Food Blogging

Awhile back, I had left the kitchen for a few minutes while my kids were eating (noodles with nutritional yeast, olive oil, garlic, and hemp seeds). When I returned, my 6 year old son told me he had taken a picture of his bowl "just like you do, Momma."

  1. Awww...that's adorable! A lil' blogger in the making! And that bowl of noodles looks mighty tasty too.

  3. Great pic for a six-year-old. On the other hand, it sounds like your kids are a little like mine - now they've gotten used to Mom taking a picture of food all the time. A bit funny, in a strange way. Ah, the times.

  4. That's a great picture! You've got a little food blogger on your hands. Maybe it's genetic.

  5. Cool! I get a little worried about my kids since they think everything they eat now needs a picture first. :-)

  9. With a different pasta, that is the same thing my children ate a couple nights ago. Oh, sisters.

  11. THANKS, EVERYONE! I'll pass all of the compliments on to the photographer himself. I'm sure he'll be thrilled he earned so many comments. :) I DID crop part of the messy table showing out of the picture, but he did do a great job at focusing.

And Blessed Mama and Vegan Linda, it's an interesting culture our kids are used to - I wonder what effect it will have on them, ha. On one hand, I want them to be conscious and serious about the food they eat. And on the other hand, I don't want food to be the most important thing to them, etc.

    Cary, sisters!
